Denice Raphael is our principal and grades K - 2 teacher. She comes to us from California where she has taught for 18 years in both the public school system and the Seventh Day Adventist school system. She has a BA in Liberal Studies, an MA in Administration and Leadership and an MA in Curriculum and Development for Special Education.
She enjoys teaching and is often greeted by children everywhere she goes. She prefers teaching in the Adventist school system simply for the freedom to talk to children about God’s love for them. She also is very passionate about community outreach activities. In her free time, Mrs. Raphael enjoys traveling, cooking, and just spending time with her family. She and her husband of 28 years have three adult children.
